Does the '15-day trick' still work on Disney Ultimate Tickets?

The short answer
Only on the legacy Ultimate Ticket (sold before November 2021), and only when at least one day inside the 14-day window wasn't used for park entry. Current 14-Day Magic Tickets work differently — a fixed 18-day window from your chosen start date, no trick required.
The 15-day trick is community lore from the Ultimate Ticket era: because those tickets activated on first use and counted '14 days from first use', a non-park day inside the window sometimes left an admission usable on day 15. It was never official policy, and it only ever applied to the old product.
The current 14-Day Magic Ticket replaced that model: you pick a start date at purchase and get 14 admissions inside an 18-day window. There's nothing to trick — the slack is built in.
If you're still holding an unused Ultimate Ticket (some people are!), the trick may still be relevant to you — but treat it as a maybe, not a plan.
