Cookies (and similar storage) are small pieces of data a site keeps in your browser. Some are strictly necessary; anything else — like affiliate or analytics tracking — we load only after you say yes. You can change your mind whenever you like.

Strictly necessary — always on

These are exempt from consent because the site can't work, or can't honour your choice, without them. They're first-party, stay on your device, and are never sent to us.

• Your cookie choice (ff.consent.v1, local storage) — remembers whether you accepted or rejected optional cookies.
• Your trip and currency inputs (ff.trip.v1, ff.fx.v1, local storage) — remember the dates, details and exchange rate you enter so the tools work across pages. This is a similar technology rather than a cookie, listed here for transparency.

We remember your cookie choice until you change it, and will ask again about once a year.

Optional — affiliate, only if you accept

If — and only if — you accept, we load the Awin affiliate tag so our partners can credit us when you buy through our links. This never changes the price you pay.

• Awin affiliate tracking — the Awin MasterTag (loaded from dwin1.com) and the affiliate cookies it sets (via awin1.comand merchant tags). Purpose: attribute affiliate commission on purchases you make through our partner links. Attribution windows are set per merchant by Awin and vary — commonly 30–90 days. The exact cookie names and durations are Awin's; see Awin's privacy & cookie policy.

We use Vercel Web Analytics to count which pages are visited. It is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, collects no personal data, and does not track you across other sites — so it falls outside the consent control above. It only tells us aggregate page popularity, which is how we decide what to write next.
