Privacy

Florida Faff is a UK trip-planning site. We built it privacy-first: the calculators and planners run entirely in your browser, so the trip details you type in aren't sent to or stored by us. This notice explains the little data we do handle (mainly standard hosting logs, and affiliate cookies if you accept them) and the rights you have over it.

Who we are

Florida Faff is operated as a sole trader in the United Kingdom, and is the “data controller” for the personal data described here. You can reach us at hello@floridafaff.co.uk. We are registered with the ICO under reference C1985610.

The short version

• No account, no sign-up, no marketing emails.
• Your inputs (dates, party size, prices) stay in your browser, not with us.
• We use affiliate links. Only if you accept cookies, partners set them to credit us for purchases — we see commission data, never your identity.
• We never sell your data.

What we handle, and why

What you enter into the tools

Your dates and other inputs are saved only in your browser's local storage, on your own device. We do not receive or store them. Clear them any time from the tool, or by clearing your browser storage.

Cookies and similar technology

Covered fully in our cookie policy. In short: strictly-necessary storage remembers your cookie choice, and — only if you accept — affiliate cookies (via Awin) help credit purchases.

Hosting and security

Our host, Vercel, processes standard technical data (such as your IP address and request details) to serve and protect the site. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

If you email us

We use your address and message only to reply. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding, or taking steps at your request.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We rely on a small number of processors and partners:

• Vercel — hosting and delivery.
• Awin — our affiliate network, active only if you accept marketing cookies. It processes click and purchase data to attribute commission.

International transfers

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on their appropriate safeguards (such as UK adequacy or the International Data Transfer Agreement).

How long we keep it

Trip data lives on your device until you clear it. Emails are kept only while relevant. Commission records are kept as long as our tax and accounting duties require.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, object to, or port your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@floridafaff.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think we've handled your data wrongly.

Children

Florida Faff is aimed at adults planning family trips and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If we change this notice we'll update the date above. Material changes will be made clear on the site.
