Is Memory Maker worth it?

The short answer
For a family fortnight, usually yes — it's one fixed cost (roughly $185-210 pre-purchased; verify the current price) against unlimited ride photos and park photographers for everyone linked to your account, across the whole trip. For a couple who mostly take their own photos: skip it.
The maths favours long UK trips: the price is the same whether you use it for 3 days or 14, and it covers everyone in your Family & Friends list. A US long-weekend family gets 4 days of photos for the money; you get a fortnight.
What tips it for most families: the photos you cannot take yourself — ride photos (and ride videos on some attractions), everyone actually in the picture including the person who's normally holding the camera, and the character-meal shots taken while you deal with a starstruck four-year-old.
Buy it in advance rather than in-park (it's cheaper pre-purchased, with a small advance-purchase window condition), and budget it deliberately in your extras rather than discovering it as a $200 surprise in week one.
